Overview

If your holiday needs a dose of altitude and adrenaline, this is it. Twelve zip lines link 18 wooden platforms set high in the Anamuya Mountains. The course starts gentle -- short lines to build your confidence -- then escalates to the centrepiece: two 800-metre runs that rank as the longest zip lines anywhere in the Caribbean. Between runs, guides point out orchids, bromeliads, and the odd iguana while you catch your breath and take in views that stretch from mountain ridge to ocean horizon.

  • Twelve cables across 18 platforms, progressively longer and higher for a building rush
  • Two headline runs of 800 metres each -- the Caribbean's longest zip lines
  • Panoramic canopy views of the Anamuya range, rivers, and the distant coastline
  • Dual-cable redundancy system and professional-grade gear inspected daily
  • Eco-conscious design that leaves the forest canopy intact

Do I need previous experience?

None required. The course is designed for first-timers and seasoned zippers alike. Guides coach you on every platform.

How safe is it?

Every cable uses a dual-line redundancy system. All gear is inspected before each session. Guides are trained in high-rope rescue procedures.

What if I freeze up partway through?

Totally normal. Guides are calm and patient. You can skip any line or take extra time on a platform. Nobody is pushed before they are ready.

Can I film the experience?

Yes -- GoPros and wrist-mounted cameras are ideal. Loose phones are a risk, so use a secure strap or buy the professional footage available on site.

The 800-metre line is no joke -- you are flying for what feels like a full minute. Views were insane, gear was top-notch, and the guides made my nervous wife feel like a pro.

Started terrified, finished on a high. The progressive difficulty is brilliantly designed. By the time you hit the long runs you are pumped, not panicked. Truly world-class.

Our whole family did it -- ages 10 to 65. Everyone came off grinning. Safety standards were reassuringly thorough. Worth every cent.
