Deep Sea Fishing Punta Cana
Sport Fishing Adventure in the Caribbean
Overview
The waters off Punta Cana sit on the edge of a deep oceanic trench, which means big-game fish patrol surprisingly close to shore. Our sport-fishing boats are rigged for trolling, bottom fishing, and live-bait techniques. The captain reads the currents, the mate preps the gear, and you do the fighting. Whether you have never held a rod or you chase marlin on three continents, the crew adapts the day to your skill level. Half-day or full-day -- your call.
- Target blue marlin, sailfish, mahi-mahi, wahoo, and yellowfin tuna
- Fully equipped sport-fishing vessel with outriggers, fighting chair, and live-bait wells
- Captain and mate handle bait, rigging, and fish landing -- you just reel
- Beginners get full coaching; experienced anglers can run their own setup
- Keep your catch and have a local restaurant cook it for dinner
Itinerary
Board at Cap Cana Marina. Safety briefing, tackle overview, and the captain outlines the day's strategy based on conditions.
Lines in the water. Troll the drop-off for pelagics or anchor up for bottom species. The crew baits, rigs, and coaches as needed.
Half-day charters head back to the marina. Full-day trips push further offshore for afternoon action.
Full-day anglers return with tired arms and (hopefully) a cooler full of fillets.

What to Bring
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need experience?
None. The crew will teach you casting, reeling, and fighting techniques. Seasoned anglers are welcome to bring their own preferences.
Can I keep what I catch?
Absolutely. The mate cleans and fillets your fish on the dock. Many restaurants in the area will prepare it for a small fee.
When is the best season?
Year-round fishing is excellent. Peak marlin season is March through July. Mahi-mahi runs strong in spring and summer. Wahoo and tuna dominate autumn and winter.
Guest Reviews
I fish Florida regularly and this rivalled any charter I have done stateside. Hooked into a solid mahi within the first hour and the captain put us on wahoo all afternoon. Boat was immaculate.
First time deep-sea fishing and I was blown away. The mate was patient, the gear was quality, and we filled the cooler. Had our catch cooked at the hotel -- best dinner of the trip.
